Windows & Mirrors
Windows are applied to isolate different physical environments while allowing light to pass through. BTMT has the ability to meet your requirements of different sizes, accuracy, materials, shapes and coating from ultra-violet to infra-red range you need.
BTMT can manufacture many difficult parallel windows of tight parallelism, tight dimension tolerance, high precision flatness and laser-grade surface quality. It is certain that all of our products are reliable because we have advanced inspecting-equipments, QA procedures and excellent operation process and high-tech staffs.
Ultra-thin windows have been used more and more in many applications. But these components are too difficult to be manufactured because the components' thickness is quite smaller than its dimension. BTMT can make the parts at the ratio from 10:1 to 40:1. The flatness of λ/4 and the transmission wavefront distortion of λ/8 are available in BTMT.
An optical flat is a flat surface which is precisely polished. It can be used as a reference, against which the flatness of unknown surface may be compared. Measurement of the surface flatness of polished surfaces can be determined visually by comparing the variations between a work surface and the surface of an optical flat. These optical flats can be used in many applications, such as, inspecting of gauge blocks for wear and accuracy, as well as testing various components, including windows, prisms, filters, mirrors, etc. They can also be used as an extremely standard flat in interferometers.
This precision plane mirror is highly polished to λ/10 flatness except indicating otherwise. They are intended for front surface use and are parallel to within 3 arc minute. These mirrors are not recommended for use as transmitting optics as the rear surface is only commercially polished. Circles, squares and rectangles are available in BTMT. Select a coating appropriate to your application using these mirrors.
